Experienced hikers and campers can walk 8.3 km from the Brandy Creek carpark along the Whitsunday Great Walk to reach this site (allow 3.5–4.5 hr). Along the way, look out for rare wildlife such as the buff-breasted paradise-kingfisher and leaf-tail gecko. Toilets, picnic tables and tank water are the only facilities; bring all self-sufficient goods and equipment.

The Whitsunday Great Walk is a challenging 30 km, 3 day, 1 way walk for experienced hikers and campers. For inexperienced hikers, there are shorter walks that link to the main track. The track begins 11 km south-west of Airlie Beach and 16.5 km north-west of Proserpine.
