This campsite is located in Conway National Park

Bushwalking trails through beautiful, lush rainforests and beach tracks with scenic ocean views can be explored in Conway National Park. In particular, the Mt Rooper track has excellent views of the Whitsunday Passage; allow 2.5 hrs for the 5.4 km circuit. To reach the national park from Airlie Beach, follow Shute Harbour Rd south-east for 6.5 km. Conway State Forest was incorporated into Conway National Park in July 2012, and the park now contains the entirety of the Whitsunday Great Walk, a challenging 30 km, 3-day, 1-way walk for experienced hikers and campers. Advance bookings are required for camping.
