Experienced and self-sufficient hikers looking for a little extra challenge on the Whitsunday Great Walk can camp at 2 bush campsites, 1.8 and 3 km beyond Repulse Creek campsite (or 11.3 and 10.1 km respectively from Bloodwood campsite). No facilities are supplied, so bring your own water and a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Whitsunday Great Walk

The Whitsunday Great Walk is a challenging 30 km, 3 day, 1 way walk for experienced hikers and campers. For inexperienced hikers, there are shorter walks that link to the main track. The track begins 11 km south-west of Airlie Beach and 16.5 km north-west of Proserpine.
