Eungella National Park

At the southern border of Eungella National Park, Broken River ripples with the movements of platypus. Sunrise and sunset between May and August is the best time to see these shy creatures. Watch from the platypus viewing deck, or try other still river pools. The park is also home to rare frogs and the endangered Eungella honeyeater, ringtail possums and 225 bird species.
