Yanks Jetty campground is just north of Harrier Point on the south-west coast of the island. The gas BBQ is free but open fires are prohibited; bring a gas/fuel stove and drinking water. The campground has space for up to 30 self-sufficient campers.

This campsite is located in Orpheus Island National Park

The caves, headlands and rock formations in Orpheus Island National Park, 110 km north of Townsville and 45 km east of Ingham, have been a source of fascination for geologists for many years. The park offers picturesque picnic and day-use areas, superb wildlife-watching and lovely camping areas. The closest boat ramp is at Taylors Beach, 25 km from Ingham, and charter boat access is from Dungeness (Lucinda), 23 km to the north-west. Advance bookings are required for camping.
