Pelorus Island camping area
Campsite
No permits or bookings are required for this free camping ground known as a great jumping-off point to fantastic snorkelling around the coral reefs off Pelorus Island’s west coast. The island is in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. If you’re snorkelling, take note that there could be fast currents. The island is reached by private boat or commercial operator from Taylor’s Beach. Wood fires are permitted.
