South Repulse Island camping area (boat-based camping)
This sheltered campground for self-sufficient campers – a maximum of 12 – is on the west side of the island, with views of Conway Range. Generators are not permitted and the site is gas/fuel stove only; also bring drinking water. There is good anchorage at the site; remember to go slow when boating, report marine strandings and not collect coral or shells.

This campsite is located in Repulse Islands National Park
Repulse Islands National Park protects 3 small islands south of Cape Conway, about 35 km south-east of Airlie Beach. The deep blue waters surrounding the islands are ideal for boating and fishing. Private boat access is from Shute Harbour or Abel Point Marina. Advance bookings are required for camping.
