Campsite
Famous for its postcard-perfect white sandy beach and azure waters, Whitehaven is one of Queensland’s most beautiful protected camping spots. The area is busy with hundreds of tourists during the day, but campers at this site can enjoy being the only visitors with permission to stay overnight – there are no hotels, bars or restaurants at Whitehaven. Set in the eucalyptus woodland behind the beach, there are 6 defined sites for a maximum of 36 people. A new toilet block was recently built on-site. Open fires and generators are prohibited. Bring all self-sufficient supplies.
