Saddleback Island camping area (boat-based camping)
On the western side of Saddleback Island, this campground has space for 12 people. The only facilities are picnic tables, so you need to bring all self-sufficient goods and equipment.
This campsite is located in Gloucester Islands National Park
One of the most remote national parks in the Whitsunday region, the Gloucester Islands are east of Bowen and north of Airlie Beach. Camping is allowed at 3 of the islands – Gloucester, Saddleback and Armit. To get here, catch a commercial or private boat from Shute Harbour at Airlie Beach or Dingo Beach. Advance bookings are required for camping.
