Gaucho’s is synonymous with the aromas of grilled steak wafting from this restaurant’s massive chargrill. For confirmed carnivores, it looks and smells like paradise. There’s seafood on the menu, along with the occasional game dish, but they are eclipsed by more than a dozen steak variants, including a reserve list of hefty aged cuts, each with a prestigious provenance. All are presented in the Argentine way with lashings of garlic, house-made churri-churri sauce and mucho gusto. Just make sure to leave room for the Don Pedro, a decadent dessert of vanilla ice-cream mixed with Callebaut hazelnut chocolate and your choice of Scotch or Tia Maria liqueur, served in a tall glass.
