A mere 5 kilometres from the city centre, this secluded caravan park looks and feels like a country retreat. It’s nestled in leafy well-grassed grounds on the banks of the River Torrens overlooking Linear Park. As well as the usual caravan park cabins, there is also delightful heritage-style accommodation in colonial Vale House, thought to be the oldest surviving residence of its size in Adelaide. Now restored, it has four separate and self-contained suites, each with a queen-size bed, modern bathroom and kitchenette, plus a private balcony.
