The Pot Food & Wine
Owner Simon Kardachi has transformed this slender suburban nook, formerly The Melting Pot, from a serious foodie destination offering a degustation menu to a more casual experience. Patrons can graze on the shared tasting menu from noon until late, either perched at the bar or relaxing at a table. French influences dominate the Mediterranean fare, evident in the chef’s selection of appetisers, charcuterie, salads, seafood, meats and desserts. Tasting plates will set you back around $12–$18 each, dessert plates around $9–$12. Wine is reasonably priced and the extensive list is a great drawcard for wine lovers.
