This towering glass-walled pavilion is the ultra-modern showcase for the Jacob’s Creek wine portfolio and also houses a smart lunchtime eatery. With the creek’s big river gums just outside and splendid views across vineyards to the Barossa Ranges, this is an evocative setting. The menu is modern Australian with a smattering of Mediterranean influences, and most dishes allow the simple strengths of regional produce to shine. As well as pizza and platters of olives, cheeses and locally smoked meats, there are excellent game and seafood choices.
