Yangie Bay camping area
The most accessible and sheltered campsite on the peninsula, this is a tranquil bushland setting overlooking the bay. Walking trails are nearby and the wild surf shores of Almonta Beach and Point Avoid are within easy reach. It’s 15 km west of the ranger HQ along the main park access road. A permit is required. Bring your own firewood and water.

This campsite is located in Coffin Bay National Park
A 4WD is the best way to enjoy everything this far-flung peninsula has to offer. Its southern beaches and limestone bluffs are wave-lashed and wild, but along the north side a series of broad, sheltered bays are ideal for swimming and canoeing. Meanwhile, the shores around distant Point Sir Isaac and beyond are wonderfully isolated and untrodden.
