Smoky Bay and Denial Bay

In the north-western corner of the Eyre Peninsula are a number of large, sheltered bays surrounded by dunes and an arid environment. Kayak close to the towns of Ceduna, Denial Bay and Smoky Bay, famous for crabs and oysters. There is kayaking in clear, shallow waters close to shore and around jetties. Camping and caravan parks can be found near the beach, and there is bush camping close by at Davenport Creek. The sea life is abundant and whales enter these water to breed in the winter months.
