Located next door to Willunga’s famed farmer’s markets, it’s hardly surprising this restaurant enjoys a passionate rapport with fresh, local produce. The authentic simplicity of its 1850s cottage also chimes beautifully with the dining ethos: rustic, Mediterranean-inspired dishes that honour the integrity of their ingredients. Signature creations include duck with beetroot, lentils and wilted greens, salted snapper, and baked goat’s cheese with olives and herbs. Diners do best here by eschewing the usual menu fuss and sharing five generous entrée plates orchestrated by the kitchen maestros. The results are very fine indeed.
