The hill country of the northern Flinders Ranges has a long history of small-scale mining. These goldfields and the associated bush camping are located 29 km east of Leigh Creek along the Copley–Balcanoona Road. For access details and other information it is necessary to contact Pasty Springs Station. Bring water and firewood but a gas/fuel stove is preferred. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads, as wild-dog baits are laid on the property.
