This fence, originally built to protect sheep in the south from dingoes in the north, begins east of Surfers Paradise in Queensland and stretches 5300 kilometres, ending north of Ceduna in the Great Australian Bight. It is referred to as the longest continuous construction in the world. Kids who have seen the film Rabbit Proof Fence might be interested to see this one.
