This campsite is located in Danggali Conservation Park

Covering more than 253 000 ha, this vast sweep of dryland mallee hugs the border of NSW, 90 km north of Renmark. In 1977 it became Australia’s first biosphere reserve, in recognition of the habitat’s significance and scale. A great region for birdwatching, this remote park also has walking and vehicle tracks to explore. There are several options for bush camping around the huge park and sites with firepits near the camp HQ in the south. You need to be self-sufficient: bring all food, water and fuel.
