A popular stopover for travellers on the Oodnadatta and Birdsville tracks, the campgrounds are close to the historic ruins of the one-time railway town of Farina, just off the Lyndhurst–Marree Rd, 25 km north of Lyndhurst and 53 km south of Marree. The history of these picturesque ruins is now documented on signs in and around some of the old buildings. The campground is run by the owners of Farina Station and is set among the trees adjacent to Farina Creek. Firewood is available and there are flush toilets and shearers quarters accommodation. Bring your own water to these campgrounds.
