This campsite is located in Heysen Trail (Flinders Ranges)

The Flinders Ranges is the starting point of the magnificent Heysen Trail, one of the world’s great walking tracks and the longest trail in Australia. If you start here – or at the other end in Deep Creek Conservation Park in the Fleurieu Peninsula – it can take around 60 days by foot to tackle the full 1200 km. But the whole trip is for experienced hikers only. Stick to the Flinders Ranges and you will experience breathtaking outback scenery. Although camping areas have water, be prepared to be self sufficent on this trail.
