Campsite
Both the Oodnadatta and Strzelecki tracks kick off from the one-time railway town of Lyndhurst, where the bitumen ends and the fun begins. This camping area is right next to the hotel and the vivid ochre pits just to the north of town are an important Aboriginal site. Note: hotel and cabin accommodation is also available. Lyndhurst is 33 km north of Leigh Creek.
