This basic but cosy two-bedroom cabin in the spectacular ‘pound-like’ Horseshoe Range, 30 kilometres east of Quorn, overlooks a bush dam. The secluded surrounds are an oasis for a delightful diversity of bird and animal life – especially at dawn and dusk. The cabin is remote and self-contained, with log fire, solar-powered lights and gas appliances. Outside there’s a campfire and barbecue area – and beyond there are bushwalks to enjoy and four-wheel-drive tracks to explore.
