This campsite is located in Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park

The heart of this majestic wilderness park – a stronghold of Adnyamathanha culture – is an isolated 1000 m plateau fortified by rugged peaks and ravines. While this inner sanctum is the preserve of experienced wilderness walkers, there are many fine walks, drives and campsites on the plateau’s fringes. The park headquarters are at Balcanoona, 100 km east of Leigh Creek along the Copley–Balcanoona Rd. Access for conventional vehicles is limited.
