This site, perched atop the island’s westernmost inlet, offers seclusion and spectacular views. While shipwrecks lie just beyond its rugged headlands, the bay’s pristine beach is a delight for swimming and fishing. Camp at the end of West Bay Rd, 22 km from the the visitor centre. Bring water and a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Flinders Chase National Park

One of SA’s wild gems, this 32 600 ha park includes dramatic coastal scenery, glorious bushland and compelling wildlife encounters. Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks are highlights, while the walks to Snake Lagoon and other hideouts along the west coast create a vivid sense of seclusion.
