Various sites are tucked among the bush to the west of Chapman River, signposted off Willoughby Rd, 19 km south-east of Penneshaw. The tidal waters are safe for kids. Bring wood and water, and preferably a gas/fuel stove.

This campsite is located in Lashmar Conservation Park

Lashmar preserves a major patch of remnant coastal bush leading to beautiful Antechamber Bay, a sweep of white sand that offers the best swimming and fishing on the eastern end of Kangaroo Island. Nearby Lashmar Lagoon is great for canoeing and waterbirds.
