Take a tour of this modern marron farm, just north of Vivonne Bay, home of Kangaroo Island’s famed freshwater crayfish. This bright and breezy cafe serves ultra-fresh marron with simple, tasty sauces, many tweaked with native herbs grown on the farm. Depending on the season you’ll find other island produce, like barramundi, kangaroo and lamb, on the specials board. It’s a relaxed setting that also tempts travellers with good coffee and luscious cakes. The property is also the vineyard and cellar door for Two Wheeler Creek Wines.
