This campsite is located in Beachport Conservation Park

On a slender peninsula just north of the Beachport township, this park is bounded by a wild ocean shore of ragged limestone cliffs on one side, and the relative calm of Lake George on the other. The park is a great spot for rambling the coast and enjoying the birdlife among the paperbarks and tea tree, while the lake is a haven for waterbirds. The lake is also a popular place for swimming, dinghy sailing and windsurfing. The coastal access tracks inside the park are for 4WD only. These sandy tracks, on the ocean side of the peninsula, give access to rocky headlands and secluded beaches.
