Burra Heritage Cottages
Hotel/motel/B&B
This row of six snug bluestone cottages dates back to 1856 and Burra’s glory days of mining. Originally crafted in the signature style of Cornish stonemasons, each offers relaxed, self-contained accommodation in a four-roomed cottage with a compact rear garden. While the amenities, including bathrooms and kitchens, have been updated to modern standards, the heritage character of the dwellings remains wonderfully intact thanks to their well-considered restoration. A visit here is a real step back in time when copper was king and Burra was a colonial boomtown.
