Coorong Wilderness Lodge

Opened early in 2009, the five beautiful cabins here on a limestone cliff on Aboriginal lands have 180 degree views over the Coorong, with pelicans, ducks and other birds flying past at window height. The cabins have solar hot water and recycled greywater, and a wind generator provides some of the power. The Ngarrindjeri custodians run informative tours by 4WD or canoe, covering bush tucker, history, traditional crafts and environmental issues. There is also a campground with powered sites and a bunkhouse.
