Few 19th-century farming estates are better preserved than Poltalloch Station. Here you’ll find an impressive collection of farm buildings scattered in park-like grounds among paddocks of grazing cattle and groves of native pines. Among these structures are three separate and private limestone residences that once housed the overseer, boundary rider and station hand. Each has been restored and equipped with modern comforts, yet furnished in classic country style. As well as its evocative accommodation, the property offers abundant scope to explore the peaceful lakeside environment on foot or by boat.
