Innes National Park
Hiking and walking
Most visitors to Innes National Park come to camp, surf, fish, swim and relax. But there are also a few short walking trails, ranging from quick strolls to half-day hikes. The Thomson Pfitzner Plaster Trail traces the history of Inneston’s old gypsum-mining settlement along an old horse-drawn railway line to Stenhouse Bay (8 kilometres return). The Gym Beach Hike (11 kilometres return) takes in sand dunes, heathland and dense mallee.
