With close to 50 sites scattered among the coastal mallee vegetation, this is the biggest of the park’s campgrounds. Pondalowie Bay is a famed surfing spot and home to an active lobster-fishing fleet. Tent-based camping is at the eastern end of the site, while campervans and caravans are catered for on the western side. The camping area is 18 km west of Marion Bay on Pondalowie Bay Rd.

This campsite is located in Innes National Park

A natural stronghold on the very toe of this farming peninsula, in contrast to the rolling fields of wheat and barley, this park is home to significant mallee scrub habitats and a spectacular coastline of limestone cliffs and secluded beaches. It’s a great getaway spot for fishing, surfing, snorkelling and bushwalking. You need to be self-sufficient to camp here, bringing in your own firewood, water and preferably a gas/fuel stove, along with a permit to camp.
