Beachfront sites on this long, lonely stretch of beach are on the peninsula’s southern fringe. There’s easy access to swimming, fishing and snorkelling, coastal headlands to explore and Marion Bay’s facilities are a short drive away. Foul Bay is 39 km south-west of Warooka, just off South Coast Rd.

This campsite is located in Yorke Peninsula Reserves

At this broad array of coastal camping spots looked after by Yorke Peninsula’s local council, there’s a terrific selection of sites on all points of the compass. While they have few, if any, facilities, the bush locations are usually close to beach views and fishing spots – as well as being quiet and secluded. You need to be pretty self-sufficient, bringing your own firewood and water. You also need a permit (from the council office, or on sale in many local shops).
