Close to Daly Head and the crashing surf along Formby Bay, this is a popular lair for fishers. There are toilet facilities; the boat ramp is for 4WD only. The coastal reserve is reached via the Corny Point–Marion Bay Rd, 16 km south-west of Corny Point.

This campsite is located in Yorke Peninsula Reserves

At this broad array of coastal camping spots looked after by Yorke Peninsula’s local council, there’s a terrific selection of sites on all points of the compass. While they have few, if any, facilities, the bush locations are usually close to beach views and fishing spots – as well as being quiet and secluded. You need to be pretty self-sufficient, bringing your own firewood and water. You also need a permit (from the council office, or on sale in many local shops).
