Walking on King Island
Eco-friendly activity
King Island,
Australian Geographic
There are plenty of great walks on King Island. One of the best places to start is around the 7000-year-old calcified forest south of Currie. Just near there is the high cliff boardwalk to Seal Rocks Lookout. In the north-east of the island, the Lavinia Nature Reserve contains wetlands of international importance, and is a great spot for birdwatching.
