Looking out over island-dotted Franklin Sound, this camping area is set in a coastal reserve within walking distance of the settlement of Lady Barron. Being so close to the town has its advantages, and if arrangements are made campers can fill up their fresh water supplies and get hot showers at the nearby Furneaux Tavern, where accommodation and very good seafood counter meals are also available. From Lady Barron, head 1 km east along Franklin Pde, which becomes Pot Boil Rd. The camping area is 500 m along on the right.
