Clear waters offer spectacular diving and snorkelling, and there are lovely scenic coastal walks nearby. Access is via the gravel Trousers Point Rd, turning right to Trousers Point Beach. The campground is 100 m past the picnic area. Campers should bring their own firewood and drinking water.

This campsite is located in Strzelecki National Park

This beautiful little park is named for the Polish explorer Strzelecki, who climbed the island’s highest peak in 1847. You can follow in his footsteps on the challenging 5 hr (return) hike to the summit, which will reward your effort with fabulous views, or you can simply relax by paddling, swimming or fishing in the park’s cool, clear waters.
