This camping area in the Scamander Conservation Area has sheltered sites which will suit smaller caravans and campervans. There are not many facilities, but this beautiful place is well worth a stopover so you can soak up uninterrupted ocean views and explore beaches which go on forever. Turn in off the Tasman Hwy, 3 km north of Scamander. There is camping in the vegetation beside the road, not at the beachside day use area. You need to come with your own water and firewood.
