Between a long lagoon and a beautiful white beach, this extensive camping area has enough sites to accommodate everyone and is rarely full. Although it’s very popular with families, the beach is wide and you’ll still be able to find a quiet spot in the dunes away from everyone. Swim, fish for salmon in the surf or just get your feet wet in the crystal-clear lagoon. You need to bring water and firewood. Turn off the highway onto access tracks 2 km north of the junction between the Tasman Hwy A3 and the A4 at the base of Elephant Pass.
