This is as close as you can get to Wineglass Bay and still sleep in a bed, and a luxury one at that. Freycinet Lodge is actually inside the national park, and although it caters for 180 guests, each beautifully appointed cabin exudes a sense of privacy, carefully tucked away between granite peaks and sheltered sandy coves. There are five levels of accommodation, from spacious cabins decked out in vibrant hues of the forest to luxurious double spa suites featuring beautiful Tasmanian timbers. Centred around a huge stone fireplace, the main lodge houses a guest lounge and restaurant, with lofty wooden-beamed ceilings and a sense of grandeur befitting the landscape outside.
