These powered sites suitable for vans are set on firm ground just metres from the beach. If you are lucky enough to win one of these in the annual ballot you can stay up to 10 nights, giving you plenty of time to explore Freycinet’s scenic delights. Access to the park is well signposted off the Tasman Hwy A3, 33 km north of Swansea. Drive 28 km along the C302 and enter the park 1 km past Coles Bay township. Richardsons Beach is just past the visitor centre. Coles Bay has petrol, stores, ice, gas refills and a number of very good restaurants and accommodation.
