Little Musselroe Bay camping area
This is a stunningly beautiful bay with views to the Furneaux Islands and an abundance of birdlife. Drive along Cape Portland Rd, 27 km north of Gladstone, and then 200 m into the sheltered bayside camping area. Best to come here between Christmas and Easter, when there is 4WD access to the camping area; otherwise access is on foot from the road. Bring drinking water and firewood.

This long coastal reserve stretches from Little Musselroe Bay south-east along Great Musselroe Bay to Poole at the northern edge of Mt William National Park.
