Mezethes Greek Taverna
The name of this restaurant means ‘many little plates’, inviting diners to graze a number of dishes. With such a mouth-watering array of seafood and meats seared to perfection over white-hot charcoal, either you’ll need a huge appetite or a big group of friends to taste them all. Grab a table, wish your friends ‘kali orexi’ (Greek for ‘bon appétit’) and tuck into lemony garlic prawns, charcoal-grilled octopus or succulent marinated lamb skewers. Other must-tastes include mussels tossed with tomato, white wine, chilli and garlic, and then there are side dishes with a difference like the salad of fresh beetroot doused with lemon juice and olive oil. The blackboard menu changes daily and there’s a great selection of wines and beers.
