Anglesea Barracks and Military Museum of Tasmania

These are the oldest continually occupied military barracks in Australia, and some of the buildings were constructed in 1814. The old military gaol houses the museum. Peep in the cells for glimpses of life-like displays such as a soldier firing a machine gun and a prisoner on his stretcher bed.
