Hadleys Hotel

Built by convict labour in 1834, Hadleys Hotel is a Hobart icon operating as a fine hotel in the city’s CBD. It is now a beautifully refurbished National Trust–listed building with lovingly appointed rooms packed with period-style furnishings, so you can soak up the classy and relaxed ambience of the Victorian era. The wonderful atrium restaurant downstairs serves fine meals, and you can take ‘high tea’ fireside in the dining room, or head to the Lobby Bar and mingle with office workers and politicians amid the old-world charm of dark polished timber and big leather armchairs.
