Anglers come to this lake more than any other in Tasmania for its wild brown trout. The average catch rate is 2 fish per angler per day, so few go away disappointed. The camping areas are clustered around the boat ramp but there are also some more isolated sites on the edge of the scrub at the other end of Jonah Bay, accessed via a track 100 m from the ramp. Turn east along Gunns Marsh Rd off Poatina Rd B51, 10 km north of its junction with the Lake Hwy A5.
