A light-filled casual cafe, this place has big city coffee, substantial country breakfasts and cakes made in-house. Order a slice of ‘Dolce Vita’ (sweet life) and a macchiato at a table in its modern surrounds or, if the weather is kind, outside on the terrace. Either way you’ll be treated to great food and a gorgeous panorama of the Tamar estuary spread out before you. If you’re looking for a meal, the à la carte menu has a distinctly Italian influence. Zucchini fritters with smoked salmon are recommended and it’s hard to beat their fish cakes with lemony sweet chilli sauce.
