Between Pipers River and Bellingham dunes, this undeveloped camping area offers a great surf beach, excellent birdwatching and a sheltered estuary with very good fishing. The campsites are tucked into the coastal scrub out of the wind. Head east along the C852 but instead of turning right to Kreglinger and Jansz cellar doors, take the next left 22 km to Bellingham. Campsites are accessed from Clifford St, off Howard St, with facilities next to the boat ramp. Bring your own water, firewood, fuel stove and a chilled bottle of very good Tasmanian champagne.
