Campsite
Branxholm is a sleepy little timber town on the Ringarooma River, east of Scottsdale. The camping ground is right in the middle of town near the Red Bridge and the start of the historic Briseis Walking track, a great spot to relax while the kids enjoy the pool and playground. There is a shop across the road, the grand old Imperial Hotel close by, excellent sightseeing at nearby Mt Horror lookout and fascinating mining history evident in the town’s graveyard.
